Privacy policy

1. Data controller

2. Legal framework
We process personal data — including professional contact data (name, company, business email), which is personal data in its own right — in accordance with Tunisian Organic Law No. 2004-63 of 27 July 2004 on the protection of personal data and the principles of Council of Europe Convention 108, to which Tunisia is a party. For visitors located in the European Union or the European Economic Area, we also apply Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Directive 2002/58/EC (ePrivacy).
Wherever you are, we follow the same principles: lawfulness, fairness and transparency, specified purposes, data minimization, accuracy, limited retention, security and confidentiality.
3. Data collected, purposes and legal bases
- Contact form. Data: name, email, phone number (optional), company (optional), message content and IP address (used for security and spam prevention). Purpose: answer your request and manage the business relationship. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps and legitimate interest in answering inquiries. Retention: the time needed to handle your request, then [3 years] after the last exchange.
- Server technical logs. Data: IP address, date and time, pages viewed, browser type. Purpose: security and proper operation of the website. Legal basis: legitimate interest. Retention: [12 months] maximum.
- Consent cookie. See the "Cookies" section below. Legal basis: necessary for the website to work.
- Spam protection (Google reCAPTCHA). Only if you enable it. Data sent to Google: IP address, information about your browser and device, browsing behavior (as described in Google's policy). Purpose: protect the form against spam and abuse. Legal basis: consent. See Google's privacy policy and terms of service.
- Audience measurement. No audience measurement tool is currently active on this website. If one is added, it will only be activated with your consent.
We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not use it for automated marketing without your agreement.
4. Recipients
Your data is accessible to authorized Digixis staff and to our technical providers (hosting, email) acting on our instructions. If you enable spam protection, some technical data is sent to Google, which processes it under its own privacy policy. It may be disclosed to authorities where required by law.
5. Hosting and transfers
This website is hosted by OVH (OVHcloud), whose data centers may be located outside Tunisia ([data center country]). When data is transferred abroad, we ensure the transfer is framed in accordance with applicable rules: authorization from the national personal data protection authority where required, an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses for data originating from the EU/EEA. Google (reCAPTCHA), when you enable it, is established in the United States: the transfer relies on the safeguards put in place by Google.
6. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures: encryption of exchanges (HTTPS), restricted access to data and regular system updates.
7. Your rights
You have the right to be informed and the rights of access, rectification, erasure and objection. If you live in the EU/EEA, you also have the right to restrict processing and to data portability, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
To exercise your rights, write to com@digixis.net. We may ask for proof of identity and we reply within one month.
8. Complaints
You may contact the National Authority for the Protection of Personal Data (INPDP) in Tunisia or, if you live in the EU/EEA, the data protection authority of your country.
9. Cookies
- digixis_consent — remembers your cookie choice. Duration: 6 months. Category: necessary.
- _GRECAPTCHA and related Google cookies — set by Google only after you enable spam protection, to tell humans from bots. Category: security (subject to your consent).
No other cookie is set without your consent. Any non-necessary cookie (Google reCAPTCHA spam protection, audience measurement) will only be set after your consent, which you can decline or withdraw at any time, as easily as you gave it, using the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page. You can also delete cookies from your browser settings.
